Call for scores
for solo cello

Vadstena-Akademien, in collaboration with the cellist Elide Sulsenti is seeking for music works to be included in a concert for solo cello which will be held in Vadstena, Sweden on the 3rd August 2024.

 

The Call aims to promote the creation of a concert dedicated to solo cello, composed of selected pieces through a "Call for Score" addressed to composers worldwide. The goal is to create a diverse and captivating program lasting approximately one hour. All the works should be in world première or, at least, Swedish première.

The call resulted in 138 pieces submitted, five of them has been selected:
