BAROQUE GESTURE 2010
Vadstena Academy in co-operation with University College of Opera in Stockholm held a weekend of seminar and workshop called "Baroque gesture" with the well-known baroque expert Sigrid T'Hooft. Sigrid T’Hooft teaches Baroque Gesture and Historical Performance Practice on Stage at the Early Music Departments of the Conservatories of The Hague (NL) and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn in Leipzig (D), as well as at the Händel-Akademie of Karlsruhe (D). Besides that she focuses on directing early opera, on choreography for her Corpo Barocco Company, and on freelance teaching & lecturing for private & academic organisations.
