LIEDER ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE, JUNE-JULY 2012
Young singer and pianist duos are offered a unique opportunity to develop as stage artists and communicators. With time to delve deeply into the works, generous opportunities for advanced coaching in piano-playing, interpretation, choice of repertoire and advanced knowledge of the repertoire, textual analysis and stage presence, the aim is to create a thoroughly prepared concert programme. The scholarship period concludes with a public concert during which each duo is afforded the opportunity to test what they have learnt in front of a live audience.
